About me: My name is Susan and I am a married for 19 years to a wonderful man who's the pastor of a growing church in South Jersey. I have 3 biological children whom I homeschool and one who we recently adopted through foster care. I love being a mom but find it to be the biggest ongoing challenge of my life. I am very involved with our church love to plan events that help bring unity to the body of Christ and help others grow in their walk with Jesus. I love Jesus, He is everything to me, He fills my life with beauty and fulfillment and I want to honor Him in all I do. 

How the Jesus-time Journal came to be: As a young mother I found it so difficult to focus on what I knew was needed for my spiritual growth. I knew that I was desperate for more Jesus-time but I needed help to focus and desired some sort of physical guide. I tried many things but was never able to stick to anything. When I started a simple home-made prayer and bible reading journal everything changed. I could pay attention and stay on track. My mind wasn't wondering while I read or prayed. The words of the Lord were able sink deep into my heart and I could trust that my prayers were being heard by God. My faith was growing and I was really learning. The best part was that I was able to help others with what I learned. This made me want to create a prayer journal for others and for my children. I knew I wasn't the only one who struggled in this area and I wanted them to have the same experience as me. As my children used this prayer journal I saw their prayer life blossom and I truly hope that other people will be blessed as they use the journal. I hope their walk with the Lord will blossom into something even more beautiful.
